Great news for me and you (but mostly me), I’ve been awarded a Barlow Commission to write a new work for Brevitas Choir. As one of the founding members of this ensemble it’s great to be able to work with them again, albeit from afar. Here’s a sample of their work that shows off their gorgeous sound and ability (and I’m in the recording!) plus this piece is just beautiful:
Elsewhere, I’ve begun private instruction in choral conducting and will be conducting two pieces with the Brandeis Chamber Singers on their concert November 20th. I’m also in the early stages of a sax quartet to be performed by PRISM on January 29th. Excitement!
